San Diego Anglican
Small Groups
Small groups embody the kingdom of God around San Diego county, as our church gathers in homes throughout the week. Groups eat together, study Scripture together, and pray for one another. These are ideal settings to invite those interested in Jesus, to begin to experience the kind of life he offers.
If you are looking to join a group this semester, you've come to the right place.
Groups start the week of September 13th, 2021, and run through the week of November 14th.

This group is for those connected to HSAC who live closer to the coast as we are seeking to connect and develop a local community but will happily welcome anyone interested in joining the discussion!

Group 06: Gospel Small Group
In Person (El Cajon): Wednesday @ 7PM
Charles Simeon once said, “The Bible first, the Prayer Book next, and all other books and doings in subordination to both.”
This semester, join us as we explore a gospel in depth! We as Anglicans strive to live the life of Christ, how better to learn to do that than by talking through Jesus' ministry!

COVID-19 Guidelines
Please see our guidelines below for COVID-19. With the uncertainty of the situation, we want to ensure everyone feels comfortable coming to small groups. These are directly from the CDC website. Please let us know if anything needs to be adjusted.
Meet outside
All in person groups will be outside
We will host our Small groups outdoors.
We will arrange tables and chairs to allow for social distancing. People from the same household can be in groups together and don’t need to be 6 feet apart – just 6 feet away from other families.
If groups include adults and/or kids, please consider those where social distancing can be maintained, like sidewalk chalk art or Frisbee.
Minimize gestures that promote close contact. For example, don’t shake hands, do elbow bumps, or give hugs. Instead wave and verbally greet them.
When in Quarantine
Optional Online only Groups
We have online only groups
Some groups will have an occasional online meet if you are interested in their topic, but unable to attend in person.
Masks
Please wear a mask to group
CDC recommends that people wear masks in public settings and when around people who don’t live in your household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
Masks may help prevent people who have COVID-19 from spreading the virus to others.
Masks are most likely to reduce the spread of COVID-19 when they are widely used by people in public settings.
Masks should NOT be worn by children under the age of 2 or anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
Masks with exhalation valves or vents should NOT be worn to help prevent the person wearing the mask from spreading COVID-19 to others (source control).
Feeling Sick?
Please quarantine if you are sick or have been exposed
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about
COVID-19.
